Oddball Update

Random bloggage is imminent. All hands abandon ship.
So here it is, Friday evening, and I’m about to sit down to a meal of home-cooked chicken fricassee.

Another work week come and gone (although it looks like I’ll still be working tomorrow), and with that, Apple and I are now approaching the last few days of our excursion to Thailand.
It’s been a good few days.

So, last night I was browsing around the INTARWEB, and I decided to check out Amazon.com. Now, I haven’t ordered anything from Amazon for years, but I decided to check their prices and availability on a few things.

Yesterday, I slipped and fell on a patch of ice.
Today, I cycled in a t-shirt and shorts.
This weekend, it may snow.

It’s an interesting day. Actually, that adjective — “interesting” — is just a whole lot of nothing. Ever noticed how we use that word to describe things when we really don’t have any feelings about them?

Haven’t posted anything here in a while. Today’s entry is going to be completely random. It’ll be all over the place.

Some issues my mom was having with her blog earlier today — they’re still ongoing, actually — caused me to reflect on the pros and cons of rolling your own blog (such as Wordpress) vs. going with a free service (like Blogger).

Inevitably, whenever I change my surroundings, my whole way of thinking changes right along with it.

As some of you may know, I have a deep fascination with abandoned hospitals, particularly mental institutions. Recently, the cause of that fascination has started becoming clearer to me.
