Oddball Update

After replaying the last few minutes of the original Halo and watching the closing cutscene again, I’ve made my decision: I’m going to the midnight sale to pick up the sequel.

Good stuff! I’ve been approved for a full day off tomorrow. This will enable me to take KITT in for some repairs at a time when traffic won’t be so bad.

Woo woo! Well, that didn’t take long. A few hours after I posted about the site tweaks I wanted to implement, they’re done. Except the tweaks to the stylesheet, but that’ll come later.

I decided to rent Driver 3 last night. And no, I refuse to called it by its canonical name, “Driv3r,” because that’s just dumb. I mean, if it were a game about 1337 hax0rs…nevermind.

Back in 1993 I remember buying a Super Nintendo game and excitedly reading the manual in the car on the way home. That game was Star Fox.

Official U.S. Playstation Magazine is the first out with word on the next Silent Hill sequel, Silent Hill 4: The Room.

The Grammy awards are coming up. And as Jimmy Kimmel said last night, “it looks like white people are out this year!” Not that I really much care, since pretty much all big name music acts of today are deplorable crap.

Walked out of the local Gamestop at noon yesterday with a new copy of Soul Calibur II (and a limited edition art book) in hand. Yesterday evening, I popped the game into the Xbox for the first time and took a look.

Disclaimer: I am not a Star Wars fan. But neither am I someone who hates Star Wars. I simply don’t have that much interest in the series.
