Oddball Update

First of all, sorry for posting a big thing about “My Vacation: Day 1 OMGBBQ!!!!1″ and then promptly falling off the face of the earth.

Well, I have to hand it to Sony’s Playstation division.

Microsoft is rolling out another spate of changes to the Xbox360 dashboard this spring (May 7th, to be precise), and they’re adding a hearty amount of new stuff.

As I mentioned a few posts back, lately I’ve rented a few video games from the local video store. The way I figure it, it’s better to spend $5 or $6 and find out a game is crap rather than drop $50-$60 and find out a game sucks.

I’m posting this from my Nintendo Wii! It has a special version of the Opera browser on it. In truth, this browser has spent a lot of time locking up on me, but has been behaving better since the last system update.

Okay, so unlike Pooch, it wasn’t until today that I finally got my first two gameplay hours of DOAX2 in. A day late and a dollar short?

This is gonna take some getting used to.
Visually, the game is gorgeous — though the excessive breast jiggling is quite silly. Then again, this is a DOA game.
Gameplay-wise…like I said, this is gonna take some getting used to.

The confusion surrounding DOAX2’s various release dates seems to be at an end. The official United States release date is 11/15 — that’s this Wednesday.

Observations, annoyances, etc., from the past few days of driving around Oahu in Test Drive: Unlimited (followed by some other unrelated ramblings):

I haven’t had to dodge around this many idiotic drivers on the road since…well…the last time I actually went out for a drive.
