And So Begineth the Final Chapter

I received an unexpected call from McNamara Pontiac this afternoon.

Midnight Train to Jacksonville

My GTO has hit status code 3800. That means it’s been produced at port — VIN assigned, spoiler installed, final prep done — and it’s now at the Union Pacific railyard waiting to be loaded onto a train.

WS6 Sales Lead

Had a young guy stop by today to check out the Trans Am. Seems like a real nice fellow.

GTOs at the Benicia, CA Union Pacific railyard

Although the tracker has not officially been updated, I received word from a fellow GTO buyer (who is also in southwest Florida, ironically) that the ship carrying our 2006 GTOs docked at the California shipyard on Saturday, December 10th.

The Word Is Out…

…As of December 2nd, in the Fort Myers Auto Trader (and on AutoTrader.com). The WS6 is up for sale!

Up: Xbox360, Down: GM

Got my Xbox360 today, right on time. Thank you, EB Games and FedEx. Everything seems to be working well; the only issue was that EB didn’t send me one of the games I ordered.

Goat on the Boat

The goat’s on the boat. Yes, my 2006 GTO has hit status code 3550, meaning it is currently on the high seas, en route from Australia to west coast USA. The journey takes about a month, so it ought to be in port by mid-December.

Those Bastages

Apple’s Mazda6 needs a bit of service, we decided. After getting back from our trip to Michigan in October, the brakes started to feel strange.

2006 GTO Exclusive Colors

Thanks to a forum member over at LS2GTO.com, we now finally have photos of the two new GTO colors for 2006, Brazen Orange and Spice Red. Check ‘em out.
