Glad you liked it! I agree that the sound samples are a nice touch (good thing I already have all the sound samples ready, so all I have to do now is write the articles).

It's funny; I'm writing these in Notepad, and I was worried at first that the articles wouldn't be very long -- instead, it's practically a novel! Formatting goes a long way towards making things seem longer or shorter. :)

Anyway, I thought that just a regular review might be a bit dry, so I decided to give some background and history and stuff. The next few won't be quite as text intensive. Hopefully some later reviews will have a few more pictures, too.

Yeah, Shoko's a drummer (and a pretty good one, at that) -- that's actually one of the things that interested me about her initially. She wrote some songs and played drums on a Puffy album, and that led me to find out more about her. Unless YouTube yanks them, one of the later reviews should contain links to some live clips where she's pounding the skins live (in addition to the fact she starts playing the drums on her albums almost exclusively further down the line).

And I thought you might dig the KOR connection. :P

Very comprehensive; I like the addition of all the little samples. (The audio player is working out well.) I think "Koi wa Tsumi" is my favorite. But you know me...love the '80s sound. And Shoko plays the drums too? Boss.

Ha, I'm also digging the KOR connection (and the Utada Hikaru connection, whose song "Automatic" is still probably my favorite). it always seems like a small world whenever you start talking music, because you know all of these fascinating little "six degrees of separation" facts about artists and their entourage that I'd never have found out otherwise.
