Picking Up the GTO Tomorrow
According to the phone call I got from the dealership today, the Sport Appearance Package installation has been completed, and my new car is ready for pickup! The only thing left to be done tomorrow is install the wheel locks I requested. So, I set about putting some plans in motion in an attempt to schedule a pickup for tomorrow. Fortunately, everything worked out, so Apple and I will be returning to Orlando tomorrow, staying overnight at Disney’s Boardwalk resort (complements of my parents’ vacation club membership), and driving the goat back home on Friday!
Everything worked out just perfectly. Vacation club points are pretty costly on the weekends, so my hope was to grab a room tomorrow night — pretty short notice, but there was plenty of availability. Additionally, my grandparents are heading up to Orlando tomorrow to visit relatives, so we’re riding along with them (actually, I’ll be driving) so Apple and I don’t have to drive separately on the way home. Plus, while we’re in Orlando we can actually relax this time around, go see a movie and have dinner together without feeling rushed.
So, big thanks to all of my family members who are helping us get this done! Tomorrow is gonna be a great day.
