Nip/Tuck Season 3 Premiere

Apple and I watched the season premiere of FX Network’s Nip/Tuck tonight. (It aired yesterday, but we forgot. Fortunately, TiVo didn’t.) First of all, Spoiler Alert! Okay, so they pull a Six Feet Under and make us think Christian’s dead, then…well, then, Ripped From The Headlines™ they do a rather lengthy segment on a morbidly obese woman who spent so many years immobile on her couch, her skin molecularly combined with the fabric. It was mortifying. Lots of insane sexual tomfoolery again too, as usual. No, not with the obese woman. That’d be…ick.

All right, that’s it for today. I’m off to play Final Fantasy X again. And eat cereal.

  1. ohh yes, one of my girlfriends was telling me about that episode…we’ve both seen our fair share of morbidly obese people at the hospital…and I remember hearing about that woman in FLA who was on the couch for SIX YEARS…eeeewwww…that is horrible…

and of course she told me about that randy little threesome…hahaha…

I couldn’t get my VCR to work last night so I got suckered into watching CSI, which was cool. Not bad for someone who doesn’t watch TV as a rule. =)

  2. Hehe, I typically don’t watch TV either except for one or two shows per season…but this season I’m becoming a bit disturbed with my behavior as I find myself wanting to watch three, four or even five different series this fall. It seems like there are a couple of actual decent drama choices out there this year, as opposed to the uninterrupted waterfall of reality dreck that’s ruled the airwaves for the last century (at least, that’s what it feels like).

I liked it when Christian’s old fuck-puppet showed up right as he was doing the mysterious dark woman from across the pond, and she was like, “WTF? You just asked me to marry you yesterday, and now I find this? Who ARE you?” I was like, uh, isn’t this normal for Christian? Hee.

  3. Funny, I watched that season premiere too! I couldn’t help laughing when, as you said, the old fuck-puppet showed up and Christian says “I’m back baby!”

If you want a fun car show to watch, check out Top Gear on Discovery (Wednesday nights at 10pm).

  4. Totally agree about Top Gear! I TiVo that every week too. Most entertaining automotive magazine show I’ve ever watched. I loved the Vauxhall Monaro episode, for obvious reasons. “At 60 miles an hour in sixth gear, it’s IDLING! You fat Aussie slacker!”

  5. mmmm…TopGear…

I pretend to enjoy watching the show with Reaper, when I’m really just drooling over dreamy Brit accents *yum*
