Oddball Update

Okay, this is starting to feel like a circus…but I’ve got the original Netflix Queue plugin back in service at last. The plugin’s author noticed that the version he uploaded to the plugin server today was an old revision—no idea how it got there—but after he replaced it with the correct code and I re-downloaded it, everything started to work. While I’ve decided not to leech Netflix’s bandwidth by displaying the DVD cover images anymore, I have taken advantage of the fact that the new revision of the plugin can parse Netflix’s user ratings and display them here. I’ve saved all the star graphics locally, so the bandwidth usage is mine and mine alone.

Now, I just have to cross my fingers and hope that tomorrow morning, when I look at this site again, it won’t be mysteriously gone.
