Finally, one of the biggest chapters of our recent automotive adventures has come to a close—or perhaps I should say that a new chapter is just beginning. After signing the final paperwork this morning, our new Mazda6 s hatchback is finally in the garage! Who knew that when I first got into this car two Thursdays ago that it would wind up in my possession by the end of the next week!

Of course, I’ve already taken a whole slew of photos of the car. Since I already took a variety of exterior shots at the library last weekend, this time I mostly focused on interior shots and pictures of the various features. You can check out the new album over at the photo gallery.

Tomorrow my wife and I are going out to dinner to celebrate! What made me really happy was that after she got done driving the car home from the dealer, she looked so pleased. She told me that she really loved driving the car now. I was very glad to hear that—after all, being involved in an accident can have a way of souring you to the whole driving experience, but she really seems to like the car—which will make driving that much nicer for her. I’m so pleased that this whole saga came to a happy end at last.
