THIS JUST IN: Season one of Knight Rider is OFFICIALLY coming to DVD on August 3rd, 2004! All 22 episodes of the first season will be included on 4 discs (3 of which are double-sided, double-layer 18 GB discs), as well as an untold number of bonus features. None of the rumored bonus features have been officially confirmed by Universal yet, but an inside source who is working with the DVD creation team has listed the following items:

Extras they are hoping to have are Pilot episode commentary by David Hasselhoff and series creator Glen A. Larson, a jam-packed documentary on the series in general, including rare photos unearthed at Universal Studios’ archive, my thoughts on the series, designing KITT, and interviews with other prominent cast and crew members.
