Thought I’d revisit my earlier post entitled same, since it was this afternoon during which the joyous occasion of me finally getting paid took place. Remember that dummkopf who bounced a check for my design services? I sent him a bill, demanded a cashier’s check be supplied within 7 days, and waited. For the last 3 days, the guy has been calling me and telling me “I’ll get it to you tomorrow,” then he never shows and there’s always some excuse. Finally, though, today he came by and dropped off $921 in cash. Cash! Can’t get any more real than that!

Which is opportune, because we have a huge credit card bill to pay. But I’m still entitled to about $400 of this money for my projects, so it will be going to KITT in some form or another, starting next year. For the remainder of this month, there’s too much going on—Christmas, an emergency spark plug change, yada yada—to really mess with big upgrades. It’s all going into the bank, where it will be messed with later.

Tonight my wife and I are going out for dinner—we haven’t done that (here in our hometown, anyway) in quite a while. It should be a nice diversion! Work will soon be looming large on the bikini guy’s website, which must be completed by the first weekend in January. As soon as that’s done, I’m out.
