I hate paying car insurance! (Wow, I think I just made my first statement that absolutely everyone who reads it can agree with.) It’s going to cost $520 a year to insure the ‘89 Formula, and that’s with liability coverages only (no comprehensive or collision). That works out to about $43 more dollars per month. I guess it’s not too bad. Ideally, though, I would like to get into a program wherein I can place the vehicle’s entire coverage in “suspension” until such time as I want to drive it, in sort of a “pay as you use it” type of plan. My parents have such a plan on two of their Trans Ams. But then, they’ve known their agent for years. I wonder if I’ll be so lucky.

Ah, it’s never just the price of the toy, is it? Always auxiliary costs involved…
